Surabaya is the capital city of East Java Province, Indonesia. Surabaya is a city of the "largest" second in Indonesia after Jakarta. Surabaya is also well known in manyspecialties. one of which is a salad cingur.
Cingur salad is one of the traditional foods that are easily found in East Java, especiallySurabaya region of origin. In the Java language the word "cingur" means "mouth", this refers to the material of the mouth or nose sliced beef boiled and mixed into sliceshidangan.terdiri of several types of fruits such as cucumber, Krai (a type of cucumbertypical East Java), young mango, pineapple, plus kedondong and rice cake, tofu, tempeh, and cingur bendoyo and vegetables such as sprouts / bean sprouts, spinachand beans.
These foods are called salad cingur for processed spices used are shrimp paste andsliced cingur. This is what distinguishes the food in general is usually salad without the use of materials such cingur. Cingur salad commonly served with additional crackers,and a base pincuk (banana leaf) or a plate.

That is the one of unique food in Palembang. pempekalways in combination with cuko. cuko is very spicy but delicious to eat.made from boiled water, then add brown sugar, shrimp, dried shrimp and crushedchili, garlic, and salt. Indigenous people of Palembang, cuko than once made spicy toincrease appetite.Pempek kind is the famous "pempek submarine", which is chicken wrapped in eggbatter and fried in oil pempek heat. There are others such as pempek lenjer, pempekround (or known by the name "ada'an"), fish skin pempek, pempek pistel (papaya slicescontent that has been spiced stew), pempek small eggs, and pempek curly.
From one batter pempek, there are many foods that can be produced, depending bothon the composition and the final processing and presentation patterns. Among these areLaksan, Tekwan, Model, and Celimpungan.
