WOODEN FISH




Traditional foods most preferred by the people of Aceh are Keumamah, or commonly called wood fish. Wooden fish called because the food is dry and brown like wood. Wooden fish has a delicious taste and unique so it is worth for you to try! These foods are made from tuna fish is boiled, then dried in the sun until completely dry. Once dry, cut the tuna into small pieces.


Wooden fish is usually cooked with coconut milk, green peppers, potatoes, and other spices. Uniquely, these traditional foods can last a long time, so it is suitable for the journey away.
Food is also very popular, because it is easy to carry and cooked. Wooden fish has another name, namely katshiobushi. Traditional foods are cheap, tasty, and fast food.
